I picked up a Godin XTSA and found out that the guitar is not shielded at all. Is it safe to shield with the added electronics?

It may hum when the middle single coil mag pickup is employed (PU selector switch  positions 2-3-4

Its full humbucking in PU selector switch  positions 1, 5

There are third party single coil size humbucking pickups - swap the middle pickup with one of those would lower the hum.

The electronics cavity is already painted with conductive grounded shielding paint
