Gk3 and stock JTV piezo electrical specs similarities

This is undoubtedly a huge and shameful surprise:

Why there was no chance for the commercial product if it all made sense?
It seems that the only spec difference between the two pickups mentioned is that the GK3 has 5mv and the stock l.r. baggs piezo has about 100x more volts.

Any ideas from the electrician on how to reconcile this thing?

The Gk-2a is about 3 times more voltage 0.014V. everyone says it has better, stronger output. Too bad it is obsolete.
