I'm guessing this has been raised multiple times on this forum but I'm after a single PSU to supply 4 Roland Boss related units... 1 x SY1000, 1 x GM800, 1 x GKAD and 1 x CodeSmarts GX2. All units run off the same type of PSU polarity and voltage wise.
I have very limited space to work in and at the moment the standard inline twin figure 8 connected PSU fits fine depth wise - I'd prefer a twin figure 8 mains connection on the input to supply all 4 units - any suggestions?

You can power the SY-1000, the GM-800 and the GK-AD simultaneously from the boss power unit shipped with the SY or the GM-800.  There's just enough juice left over to power my small Rolls mixer and my FS-6 too, but I'm nominally pretty close to the 2A limit of the Boss PSU with that.

I understand the peak power draw is when the units are switched on and their capacitors charge, so I always switch my SY on after the GM has booted.

I don't know the draw for codesmart's unit.

I'm looking at picking up a GigRig generator and distributor off eBay in the medium term.
Main rig: Barden Hexacaster and Brian Moore i2.13 controllers
Boss SY1000/Boss GKC-AD/Boss GM-800/Laney LFR112

Other relevant gear: Line 6 Helix LT, Roland GR-33, Axon AX100 MkII
Oberheim Matrix 6R, Supernova IIR, EMu E5000, Apple Mainstage, Apple Logic, MOTU M4

I use a Cioks DC7 to power my SY-1000, GM-800, GKC-DA, Morningstar MC-8, and still have a spare 640 mA port. It has 7 ports at 640mA each, with max 48W output. I use current doublers, in pairs for the SY-1000 and GM-800.
VG/synth gear:
Fishman Tripleplay Connect, GK-2,GK-3,GK-5,GP-10, GT1000 Core, SY-1000, GM-800, Morningstar MC8, iPad with AUM and AUV3 plugins.

Really good to know problem solved! Thanks

If you use current doublers, I think this looks excellent value for money.

I have one under my traditional pedal board and it certainly does the job, although I don't have anything challenging on that board - I think my Catlinbread Echorec is the biggest power draw.

Just to mention in 2023, when you begin to exceed the current limit of your clean isolated DC pedal board Power supply, you will begin to hear much higher Hiss, and ringing noises in your powered gear's  audio outputs as a first sign. ( result of exposed harmonics from an overloaded switching power supply)   Remove DC Power from each Effect pedal one by one until clean noise free audio is restored.
