hi!  Brand new to the forum, and my GT1000 Core. I'm going down a fun path using it with a Roland AX Edge Keytar to help out our band by covering some rhythm guitar parts, while the REAL guitar player is doing his thing :).  HOWEVER...Here's the Newbie WTF did I do question:

The first time I turned the Core on and auditioned all the presets and took notes..listening on headphones for now. The next time I turned it out and started to use the 'exchange' feature in the User area to reorg some favorite sounds, it's now stuck with the same Delay effect on every patch????  What did I do, and how can I fix it??? :).  (and, here's a photo of my little studio world.

Thanks!

Thank you.  Yeah.. Will try it again.. didn't work the first time..but I'll try 'stomp box to stompbox' and then a 'system to system'.   weird :).

Hey All.. I'm at my wits end with this.  The unit ALWAYS turns on with the same delay setting across all patches (it almost sounds more like a feedback loop to me).  Sometimes after I've done the restore from factory process (system-system) and (pedalboard-pedalboard), it goes back to normal.  Then, next time I start it up again, the delay effect across all patches is back.  Wiring wise, super simply.. Stereo outs of my Roland Keytar AX Edge in, Stereo out to the mixing board. (or just the headphone out).  Not sure it matters, but I'm using balanced TRS cables.

 Any thoughts??  Thanks.

Try a different keyboard

Verify all Keytar AX Edge built in FX and delays are disabled

Thanks.. yeah.. I can totally confirm it.  I programed up a very stripped down guitar patch in the Ax with no fx whatsoever on it. just a few layers of velocity switched samples.  which, when it works, makes the GT1000 really sound cool :). I also check with a number of other patches that are super dry (piano, etc).. Don't have another keyboard to try with it though.

The very odd part to me is that it's the exact same effect being carried across all patches as I cycle thru them (And, it's the same in either P or U set of patches).  The other odd thing.. as I'm scrolling thur and playing, I'll occasionally see the word 'saving' flashing in the upper right corner where the 'out' level meters are.  What's happening there??

Contact Boss support with your serial number , to seek a  warranty repair ticket for your GT-1000core that is errantly saving patches by itself and enabling the delay on without user intervention

Do you have this plugged into a computer?

Are you hearing the loopback from the computer?

Let me see...There are related settings on page 46 of the manual.
