Different Patch Volumens, how to handle this during playing a live gig?

Hi Katana users,

recently bought a mk2 head and like it. I found some cool patches (mainly metal stuff) but they are all on totally different volume levels. I know how to write, edit and store them to the channels with tone studio, but I still have the volume issue. I guess playing in a band rehearsal with the master cranked up on 50w power, and changing the channel from a low volume to a high volume patch will make your ears bleeding. Is it possible to store/write a patch without the ,,patch volume",so the software patch will use the setted hardware volume? Or how can I handle different patch volumes in a live situation?
Thank you...

I think you are really asking if there is some automatic or magic way to level all the patches and the answer is no. You will have to work with them and store them in the live setting with your amp cranked to the level you decide on. One tip is to try to limit the bass your system puts out because you probably have a bass player that wants to be heard.Good luck with it!  8)
