when I tried to move the switch to CTL 2 I got a weird issue I can't figure out.

The light on CTL 2 is on when FX are off.
On GP you can fiddle with the led on/off and get it right.
can't seem to find a solution to get the light on when the Wha is on, only off.
as soon as I touch the volume  FV MINIMUM and MAXIMUM are both 100 the light goes on.

what am I missing ?

There's a quirk that sometimes bites me when there are multiple toggles...

First, make sure your moments & toggles are correct.

So what I think you want is:
 - CTL2 LED color to AUTO
 - EXP1 ASSIGN to FX1 WAH Pedal Position (MOMENT!)
 - EXP1 ASSIGN to FV1 Pedal Position (MOMENT!)
 - CTL2 to FX1 ON/OFF, Min=OFF, Max=ON (TOGGLE!)
 - CTL2 to FV1 Volume Min, Min=100, Max=0 (TOGGLE!)

Now, the quirk...  I think TOGGLE sometimes literally means TOGGLE...  So if you're thinking it means ON/OFF, it may actually mean OFF/ON on one of the two assigns...  To fix, manually set the settings where you want them either in BTS or on the SY-1000.

In this specific instance, pull up the Foot Volume 1 parameters in BTS.  If you can see the FX1 at the top of the screen is OFF, you want the FV1 Volume Min to be 0.  If the FX1 is ON, you want the FV1 Volume Min to be 100.  If they're not that way, switch them manually.  This should knock the TOGGLES back into alignment.

Hope this helps.  I might just be crazy.

Thanx
I'll give it a go tomorrow.
It seems like I have all the settings correct but..
Can't wrap my head around it tonight.

It's very easy on GP-10 to get this right.
Just to turn the led assignment on / or off then toggle the FX

Quote- CTL2 to FX1 ON/OFF, Min=OFF, Max=ON (TOGGLE!)
 - CTL2 to FV1 Volume Min, Min=100, Max=0 (TOGGLE!)

turning those values around in both assigns did it.
thanks

Voltron

I set my wah to be off when it is all the way down, that way you don't need a switch.  You can set the range so that 0-80% maps to 0-100% so you have some play between 100% and off.

I currently do this using mainstage and the sy-1000, but I'm pretty sure you can do it with just the SY.

Do you mean switching between volume pedal and wha or just switching wha off ?
