Hello , I have the 3.20 version of GT 1k , the Boss Tone Studio in the MacBook is working fine by USB .
But I can't connect by bluetooth the Samsung A54 with the GT 1000 , so the BTS v3 installed on the Samsung is unseless .
I tried of course the common way to pair devices , but it doesn't work .
Is it a known problem ?

Do not pair

Bluetooth Audio is not supported on
 GT-1000

Just launch Mobile Boss Tone Studio for GT-1000 (android) and allow it to make the BLE connection , allow it permission to know your location as thats neccesary for BLE connection

Read the detailed instructions

Thanks , I have done the steps described in the Boss link , but the A 54 still says " disconnected "  " wrong device " ...
What is BLE ?

Bluetooth Low Energy - (BLE)

I suspect the Samsung A54 lacks  BLE compatible CODEC - so may NOT work with Boss Tone Studio for GT-1000

QuoteUnfortunately, the Samsung A54, and its siblings, A34 5G and A24, all lack support for aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX Lossless Bluetooth, or Bluetooth LE codecs.

My Samsung Galaxy S10+, Tab S7 FE do support BLE and  work with Boss Tone Studio for GT-1000

I have been using an older Samsung A71, Bluetooth connected to Pocket-GT, and using Android Tone Studio.
Have an A34 or 54 (not sure which) 5G coming this week as a replacement (work phone 'next-off-the-rank"), so will give that a go with the Pocket-GT Bluetooth.

I assume the Pocket-GT and GT-1000 would use a similar BLE codec.

Try to allow BTS for Android to share your location.....

Even with location on the A 54 it does not work .
It doesn't work either with the Yamaha THR 10 II , when my old Samsung J5 could do it !

I easily connect with my Galaxy  S10+

Remember on phone, Enable Bluetooth,  but DO NOT "PAIR" with anything

Launch Boss Tone Studio and follow prompts and follow instructions to connect to GT-1000

Test for BLE support
Use a third party app called BLE Scanner to test if your phone supports BLE

If you can't get bluetooth to work, it should be possible to connect via MIDI, with a USB MIDI interface.

Hmmm, interesting, it works in iOS.

Samsung A34 5G arrived, cloned the apps from my old phone, ran Tone Studio for Pocket GT,
the Pocket GT and Tone Studio found each other and paired all within a few seconds.
If the Pocket GT can do this, then the GT-1000 should.

Make sure you see "GT-1000 midi" as the connection device, if previously paired, then unpair.
When finding the GT-1000 midi in the bluetooth connection settings, and pairing confirmation number should appear.

There is also the possibility your GT-1000 does not internally have Bluetooth fitted (depending on your Country of purchase), it is not permitted for sale in some areas.
In your phones regular Bluetooth menu (swipe down from the screen top), it should see GT-1000 as some sort of BT device while scanning for devices.

Not every GT-1000 has a Bluetooth module. And None of the GT-1000Core have Bluetooth.

Depends on your countries FCC/  CE Certification Fees  - Boss omits the GT-1000 Bluetooth module in certain countries, as its cost prohibitive to obtain local region CE Certification
