Can you help me.
I bought used roland.
Roland turned on- screen works fine.
Gr line into mixer.
connecting my gk3b no sound comming out.
even gk diod's not turning on.
GR Tuner cant detect any note.
Connected few midi controlers to get the sound out from gr and theres no sound comming out.
Am i doing something wrong. I feel like im missing some trivial thing in system setings.

I didn't think the GR-33 was compatible with GK-3B and Bass.
At best I would think it would detect notes played from 13th fret and upwards.

I know the GR-20 and GR-55 (and SY-1000) have Bass mode, but any older GK devices need to be specifically a bass unit.
Free "GR-55 FloorBoard" editor software from https://sourceforge.net/projects/grfloorboard/

Only GK-3B compatabile 13 pin bass processors are

GI-20, GR-20, VBASS, VB-99, GR-55, SY-1000, GKC-AD> GM-800

Search their specifications for "BASS MODE"

GR-33 is not compatible with GK-3B- these units employ a tuned band pass filter per string designed to minimize out of active pitch range  false triggers.

At best you may experience GR-33 tracking when playing Bass above 12th fret.

Another thing is
Why i cant get any sound from gr33 midi connected with microkorg synth.
especially i would hear the gr33 saxophone sound.
Midi channel are the same. Volume all up. i did gr33 midi check test - its all good. ive did factory reset.
are there any other hidden options in gr33?

Use a third party MIDI utility that can verify GR-33 MIDI OUTPUT, and can test mikroKorg MIDI INPUT

I use iPad running MIDI WRENCH with a Roland UM One MKII 5 pin USB interface and a iPad USB Host adapter

I've checked!
With grapelight all seems correct.
With midi-ox get crash and gr33 freezes.
What now?

Skip grapelight

Use a genuine MIDI Monitor that can detect MIDI NOTE ON/OFF messages
There are  MIDI MONITOR apps on IOS and Android that accomplish this task using a smartphone.
