With many of my patches Ctrl 1 is set to put Amp into Lead Mode and with many of them the result is aprox double the volume, which is too much.  I would like to not have to quickly reach for the Volume knob on my GK3.  My attempts to figure out how to control/adjust this have failed.  I must be missing something.  Help!

Assign the clt 1 to lower master amp volume when triggering lead and to raise the volume again when turning lead off.

See attached for an example.

I play Country music too, I'm just not sure which country it's from...

So - do both with Ctrl-1.  Thanks.
Will give it a go.

I'm sorry but I don't think I get what you are saying in the first place.

If you by lead mode mean a different type of amp then I'd try setting both amps volume ps to match and saving the patch.

If you're using the same amp, there's solo level that you set to match the volume and just turn on/off with ctl 1.

And there's several more ways to do it.

The GP-10 preamp section has a "solo on/off" switch (which you are using for you lead boost) there is also a "solo level" control next to it which you use to set the lead level balance, by default it is set to 50, try lowering to 35.
Then resave each patch you adjust.

Finally fired up Tone Studio to try to figure this out again.
Yes by Lead mode I meant Solo mode.

So for example Normal PU / Ctrl 1 is assigned to Toggle the Solo Switch on the amp. Amp is High Gain stack.  On the Amp I see a Gain Switch with setting Low/Med/High and have it set to Low.  I do not see anything called "Solo Switch"  Are they the same or am I looking in the wrong place? or?
