GUITAR INPUT Only

I am currently exploring a 1/4" cable plugged into GUITAR INPUT with nothing connected to the GK port. This defaults the VG-99 to Normal PU, and I now have a replacement for my Boss GT-1 that I have been using with my GK-less guitars (ones lacking either a GK2 or GK3 pickup). The reason for doing this is my GK-less Mason guitar with a Floyd Rose bridge that I don't think could take a GK pickup.

I've searched the site for a description of what I do have and don't have using GUITAR INPUT ONLY, so I'm posting this to see if my observations are correct. I would benefit, and maybe others, from people with a better understanding of the VG-99 platform adding to, subtracting from, or modifying these 2 lists.
