The usb is none midi compliant on the gp-10. Poor decision.  But the device works so nice with the Mac driver

Is there a device even raspberry pi distro that can do this?

Would be great to use gk3 -> GP-10 -> iPad -> loopy pro

For GP-10 MIDI

Primovasound MIDX-20

Raspberry Pi

CMU MIDI UHOST is supposed to work and provide wireless MIDI over BLE  to iPad

It is possible but the complexity and specificity of the equipment required to do it makes it basically pointless.
