Hi
I created a LiveSet and copied some patches from the Pedal/Editor (farthest left) column into the LiveSet.
Seems to me that these patches in the LiveSet column should sound exactly the same right?
They don't.
Is this an issue that is known?  Any ideas or links?
Edit - After I posted I was experimenting a bit.  The patches in the Librarian that were made by doing a Backup sound right.  The patches I made in 6he Librarian by dragging and dropping don't.  Hmmm.
Edit 2 - If I drag and drop a patch from a backup to a LiveSet and do an A/B test it sounds close, but not exactly the same as the one in the backup.
Thanks
Steve

Are you able to load the two copies of the patch into the GP-10 and in the editor, alternate between them to see if you can find which parameter(s) has changed ?
Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else.

I can do that.
That would definitely tell me if any parameters were dropped or added.  I noticed that this happened with a whole bunch of patches but I will pick one or two simple ones and see what I see.
Can I assume that your response indicates that you have not had other reports of this behavior? It seemed like it would be a tough thing to search.
Thanks

Are you using an Extra footswitch? Sounds crazy, but make sure you keep it connected if doing any patch exchanges.

There's a whole thread about BTS and saving / dragging patches.

I play Country music too, I'm just not sure which country it's from...

Brak(E)man - Thanks for that lead - very helpful.

Summary of what I got:
Others have had these issues - there is a bug.  It might have been fixed by version 1.1.1

Full Backups from GP-10 to BTS LiveSets do not introduce bugs.

Dragging and dropping from the left column - the GP-10 Column - in the editor into LiveSets some patches get screwed up.

Dragging & Dropping Patches from LiveSet to Liveset works fine - does not mess patches up.

So
I do not know what Version of BTS I am running but need to check.  Could not find it myself.  Anybody know how?
If I have an older version - updating might resolve my problem.
If I have Version 1.1.1 then I will need to use some workarounds to make sure my patches don't get messed up.

Thanks all.  More later.

So - turned out I was not running the latest version of BTS and that my issue was a know bug that was fixed in 1.1.1.
Made a backup of the box.  Exported my Livesets. Uninstalled, reinstalled 1.1.1.  Moved some patches around and seems like all is well.  Yay!
