I'm using my Godin with a Fernandez Sustainer on it to achieve the sustain needed for the Dilruba . It would be great on a fretless guitar, even though the Dilruba has frets you don't really hear them. Remember lots of slides and bends try and play melodies on one string - This was all done on the G string.

I've also created a Tanpora drone work and a Swarmandal (Indian Harp) both are C# Mixolydian (Khamaj thaat)

I used the isolated Tabla part from the original Within You Without You as it would taken me ages to recreate that!

Beautiful job! Just using the index and middle fingers to "fret" makes a big difference in achieving the dilruba sound. I'll be trying this on a gig tonight with my bowed guitar. I'm curious to see how it sounds with an impulse response. Thank you!

The sound of the 12 string tampora is amazing. It inspires me a lot. Thank you for this great work.

It would be good to hear the results on the bowed guitar and an impulse response. I only used a the index and middle for most of it and all on one string too (G string) so a lot of sliding around!

The music writes a check that the hat can't cash.  ;D

Very very cool textures. The way the pitch shifting has subtle squirrellies is actually pretty interesting.
