Does anyone know where I can get a schematic for a Roland GI-10?
Thanks,

Kevin

Here is a little bit of the power section.

I haven't run across a full schematic. I own a GI-10 so if you need to identify a blown IC or anything like that I may be able to help.

My unit actually works OK. I 'm looking for a schematic because I want to modify it so I need to get a look at the input circuitry for each string.
Thanks.

OK - then I would recommend taking a look at the GR-30 service notes because there's a good chance that the input sections are very similar.

You can find one here: http://www.synfo.nl/pages/servicemanuals.html

The input sections probably are similar but I need the proper schematic to identify the entire buffer chain and conclusively know which IC carries which signal path at each point in the chain.
Thanks,

I called Roland but they only release schematics to authorized repair centers. I was an authorized repair tech for years and had access to schematics from every major manufacturer but I moved to LA and have been working in studios for 20+ years now. Since I'm no longer a bench tech I'm on the outside of that world now. I really miss access to technical documentation.

Just saw Bill's response, I'll PM you. Thanks so much!
