GT-100 - Problems with Boss GT 100 and Tone Studio
« on: September 17, 2016, 07:24:55 PM »
I haven't used my GT-100 in a few months and decided to give it a spin (been using the GP-10 the last few months).  I have version 2.03 loaded on the GT-100.  I installed the latest driver (version 2.0.0)for my Mac mini (version 10.11.6).  I removed the old Boss Tone Studio and downloaded the new version of it (1.1.0).  Tone Studio comes up fine in off line mode, but when connected to the GT100 it starts loading Patch U01 and then locks up.  I've waited several minutes to see if it was loading all the patches but it stays locked in that opening screen.  I've repeated this process a couple times with the same results.

Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Oh, as I mentioned I use the GP-10 and the GP-10 Tone Studio works perfectly.  Is there a clash between the two somehow?

Thanks for your help!
Ron

There are now new drivers for the GT-100 and a new GT-100 firmware.
Load the new firmware first, and then the latest updated driver.
