I successfully connected the  QuiccoSound mi.1 Bluetooth Wireless MIDI adapter to control Antares ATG-1 using iPad with MIDI Designer - very efficient!

Just be sure when connecting to iPad using the QuiccoSound m1.1 Connect IOS app , to avoid performing the Firmware update on the mi.1

1) Connect QuiccoSound mi.1 with firmware 1.0.1 to  Antares ATG-1

2 ) Power on the  Antares ATG-1

3) See the "blinking Status LED" on QuiccoSound mi.1

4) On Ipad launch mi.1 Connect app, and click "Connect" - will show the  mi.1 as connected in the center of the screen.

5) On iPad, doubletap the Home Button, to put the "mi.1 Connect app" in the background, and then launch MIDI Designer, and select the Antares ATG-1 Control Template. and All runs great  - Ipad wireless control of ATG-1

Just a warning that IOS 9 "breaks" the QuiccoSound mi.1  Connect application, and makes it impossible to use  QuiccoSound mi.1  on anything other that Apple Garageband

(stay tuned)

Working Wireless MIDI device for ATG-1 - $45 (2016 Quiccosound mi.1)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PEFOOFI?
I have tested with IOS 9.2, and IOS 8.1

I took delivery of a new 2016 Quiccosound mi.1 - and i can report this works for bi-directional remote control for ATG products
http://www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=11231.msg122833#msg122833
It works in Garageband
Apple GarageBand recognizes the  2016 Quiccosound mi.1

and in MIDI Designer with ATG Template for wireless remote control of ATG-1
====
You must launch latest version of MIDI Designer

Click "more" at top center of display

Click "Config"
and you will see the MIDI Hardware setting on the left display "BLUETOOTH" depicted under Hardware and Virtual Destinations

I plan to use the 2016 Quiccosound mi.1 for my custom ATG guitar build ( a highly modified Fender Fishman Triplplay Strat+ATG Luthier kit) and use the  latest Quiccosound mi.1  for wireless remote control of ATG using iPad

In Garageband, make sure to turn on "Run in Background" or else it won't even show Bluetooth MIDI Devices as an option.

2016  Quiccosound mi.1  is working for all my IOS MIDI apps
http://www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=11231.msg122833#msg122833

I only used GarageBand as a verification that the  Quiccosound mi.1 was available as a MIDI over Bluetooth device

But Garageband is not required to be running.

I close all IOS apps,  and then launch MIDI Designer (version 1.7.2), and

* Under Hardware and Virtual Sources, the message "Bluetooth",indicates the   Quiccosound mi.1 is connected as a MIDI Input Device.

* Under Hardware and Virtual Destinations, the message "Bluetooth" indicates the  Quiccosound mi.1 is connected as a MIDI Output device.

As shown here
