FC 300 help
« on: August 20, 2013, 09:28:55 AM »
Hi guys and colleagues,
I need to send the Midi Play, Midi Stop and Midi Rec messages from my FC-300 to my Cubase, thus to trig the Play/Rec/Stop functions on Cubase.
I've tried different ways, but there is no result  >:(

How can I have to set the FC-300 to send these kind of messages?
Help me, thanks a lot

I'm pretty sure you'll need to work in PATCH mode.

Page 42 in the manual shows which MIDI and MMC commands are available in PATCH mode.  I'd read up on MMC, & see if Cubase supports it (I suspect it does).

I've not done this before so that's about as far as I can help you!

If not found in PATCH mode, take a look at CONTROL mode. PATCH is very useful for sending Program Change (PC) commands whereas CONTROL can send strings of PC and CC commands if I recall correctly.
