I really enjoyed Carl Verheyens Strat Whammy Bar Setup videos. Thanks for that post.
The trick with the angled spring claw in the back cavity is brilliant to keep the string tensions more even.
I now have a Standard Fender Tremolo set up to Carls specs and was very careful to also keep the string angle even at the nut for all 6 strings using string trees and winding "upwards" on the E and A low strings. This all helps keep a nice musically pleasing and mechanically stable tremolo action happening.
Nevertheless a Super Vee Bladerunner is gonna get installed as soon as I can smuggle one past my .....ssshhhhh....wife   :-*
It seems the extra stability and extra chime is just too hard to beat and worth the risk ! ;D
