I just put up some new patches in the Funk section of GR-55 Exchange Patches, try them out, if it not to your liking, write me a tone request.

There are some Ideas for creating clean guitar patches that are cool. first try not using an amp model with compression and EQ to get that "Rockman" sound. With amps try some models you don't normally use like the JC 120 or clean Masa amps. Then change up the cabs to get some different tones. For funk tones cut back on reverb and delays. Use varying levels of chorus, a little can go a long way. For classic funk you can use Phaser and auto Wha. I find the Fender amps will be bright and lack midrange definition, so use them sparingly. The major take-away is that use your ear to get the tone you are looking for and use other user patches as a starting point that you can learn from.

Everything from modeling to the real deal, my house looks like a music store.
