Hi,

just a question here : has anyone programmed a glide effect on the SY300?

to illustrate my question, here is what I am looking for :

this video is the EHX (Synth9) presentation. what interests me is about 9'15"" at the end of the vid, what they call the "mini mood "sound, and I am pretty sure that this sound can be achieved with the SY300...

thanks for your help
Eric

The SY-300 doesn't have portamento, you have to provide that yourself...

You can trigger glides with Ctl switches or use an expression pedal. You can also program so that every note has the same pitch change. But these are not the same thing as a classic portamento. Still, using a Ctl pedal should get you close enough.

I find its best to use the right tool for the job -

If I need "Glide  /portamento - I grab this instead and tap the "P-Glide" foot switch
