Is it possible to add effects to only the usb in signal in the gt001? I am using ableton on pc and know that i can use a different interface to route in physical pedals, but im wondering if i can route them back in to gt001 and add effects that are not also on the guitar in. I think this could work like a virtual fx loop for the gt001 which lacks one.

the GT-001/100 has a USB 'block' just like an effects block/unit in the gt which the USB audio stream outward from the GT can be placed anywhere in the signal chain.
Depending on the GT USB mode, the USB audio stream inward to the GT is either at the start of the sigal chain, or at the end of the signal chain.

But Yes, outboard processing can be done and fed back into the GT.
In 2008 with the GT-10, I was using the GT, with a USB cable to a laptop, with guitar to midi software and software synth, and feeding the synth tones back into the GT. And also using the GT EXP pedal midi to control the synth mix levels.
