Title: Effect Doesn't Turn On/Off after Setting CTL 1 Switch
Post by: dale s on February 14, 2016, 12:43:03 PM
Trying to use the CTL 1 switch on FC-300 for the feedbacker effect on VG-99.  Followed the instruction in the VG-99 manual.  The CTL switch activates as programmed but the effect stays on all the time.  Any suggestions?

To understand the logic for external CTL switches read this thread

Thanks for the reply, I'm using the CTL 1 foot switch on the FC-300 controller. Does that make a difference? otherwise I'm not sure I follow how to use the link you sent.

Set the control mode to Momentary from Latch

CTL1: Mode
<    LATCH> --> <MOMENTARY>

Thanks for the suggestion.  Unfortunately that didn't work.  I'm really at a loss here.

The FC300 should be in sysex mode.
The assign states on the VG99 should be ON and OFF.
And make sure you do not confuse FC300 CTL1 with the regular CTL1 (which is the button on the VG99)
