Hello All,
Just wondering if any of you know if there is a way to transfer my user patches from my old GT-6 to my new GT-100? Is it even possible?
Many thanks,
Nick.

there are some methods in witch this can be done. Method one is to open your GT-6 patches in a GT-6 editing software and copy down all the parameters then apply the settings to your GT-100. The problem you will run into is they won't sound exactly the same because Roland has changed sound engines and effect parameters so much over the years. It may get you in the ball park. Then you could always just start from scratch. In any case there is no quick software solution. Years ago I had a GT-6 and then got a GT-8 and there was a program called GT-Manager that converted the GT-6 patches to GT-8 format http://www.partheus.co.uk/ the software will work for the GT-100 but I'm not sure about the conversion from 6 to 100. another option is to use Gumtowns floorboard editors and get the one for the GT-6 and in the Tools menu there is an option to export the patch to a text file for manual conversion.

I downloaded the GTManger software and conversion is available so you might find it a good option for you.

For you to use patches from other gts, you should convert all other patches to midi and import in the gt-100 editor

Actually if you use the latest version of Gumtowns GT-100 FX Floorboard Editor app, you can directly  load patch files from
Boss GT-6, Boss GT-8, Boss GT-10, GT-001, GT-100

Get it here
