Here on my gear - the ipad II works just fine with IS-202 using the Patuoxun cables Extender

But Today I'm only interested in 24 bit Audio Interfaces for IOS devices

EDIT: June 2014  - I abandoned further effort on the Behringer iStudio IS202 - due to the limited USB Interface that restricts all Audio I/O to iPad to 16 bits - Modern IOS Amp Sims ( Positive Grid BIAS/JAMUP PRO) really reveal the shortcomings of 16 bit Audio. The latest iPads running IOS6-7 now support Multi-channel 24 bit Audio.  You need 24 bits to run Modern IOS Guitar Amp Sims to get anywhere near a Kemper experience using Positive Grid Bias.  16 bits reveals rice its sonic limitations under this specific condition

For my latest recommended iPad Guitar Interface(24bit I/O, full MIDI I/O, Battery powered for 6 hours use)Read this thread below

Playing on with guitar on "10"  -you may not hear the difference between 16 bit and 24 bit.

The whole point in using a guitar with volume set to "3" , is the signal must now compete with the noise floor and hiss of the audio interface.

Also you must disable any Noise gates in your Guitar Amp sim software - remember my whole point for recommending 24 bit audio interfaces over 16 bit interfaces is not for recording - its for live iPad Guitar Amp simulation software - this is where you really need a 24 bit high SNR Audio interface, else you must use Noise gates all the time, and that ruins your dynamic range  - and you loose the ability to "roll the guitar volume down to clean up" a high gain Amp sim in Positive Grid BIAS (my main objective here)

Been using this the past hour with my iPad Mini and Lightning to 30 pin dock adapter - works great, charges the iPad when AC adapter is attached, or runs on batteries - which makes it less susceptible to ground loop noise.

Hi I just got a used iStudio partially because I saw this set up working in this post.  I am trying to do the same thing but for reasons unknown to me the iPad does not seem to be able to find the iStudio at all.  I am having no luck at all getting the signal from the guitar plugged into the iStudio to reach the input of Bias.  Could it be I have a bad lightning to 30 pin adapter?

Be sure it's a genuine Apple Lightning to 30 pin adapter

But I still advise
