Hello,
do you think it's possible to upload a syx/mid file, containing the whole set of factory patches?

It would be interesting for me, as my idea would be to adapt the GT-1 stock patches to the GT-100, using either Gumtown's excellent FxFloorBoard or the official BOSS Tone Studio. From what I've heard from the demos on the web, many stock patches sound pretty good.

Thank you!
Marco

The GT-1 is a different structure from the GT-100 and GT-001, and it's patches are not (yet) compatible.

Hello Gumtown!
First, great work on your Floorboard software! Amazing tool!

I know they are not, but... since the GT-1 is actually a subset of the GT-100 (isn't it), I thought to manually adapt the GT-1 patches for the GT-100.

For example:
A GT-1 patch with MS1959 Preamp, 4x12 speaker, Tera Echo Delay and Plate Reverb ----->>> I would manually reproduce it in the GT-100 patch with a MS1959 Preamp, 4x12 speaker, Tera Echo FX2 and Plate Reverb.

Or am I missing anything?

What you describe is "patch cloning "

Anyone can download the Boss Tone Studio for GT-1 , launch in "offline mode" and review all factory GT-1 patches and settings.

No need to own the Boss GT-1 to do that

Hello Elantric!
You answered my question, thank you!

I will definitely try what you suggested.

Just one last thing: is it confirmed (either officially or... empirically) that the modelling in the GT-1 is identical to the GT-100 v2 / GT-001 (with less features), with no improvements/updates?

EDIT: I also noticed that the whole part about mic placing (type / distance / angle) is completely absent in the GT-1. Are they "hardwired" to what is the default position in the GT-100, that is (by memory) MD421, on mic, 5 cm?

On Boss GT-1, change the Output Mode to LINE/PHONES , then under the "PREAMP" section , change the speaker type away from the default "Origin" type and review the options for alternate Speaker type.

But the cab mic type and distance placement location settings are missing on Boss GT-1.

This confirms that  the COSM Modeling in the Boss GT-1 has much less parameters compared to GT-100 ,so the COSM Modeling in Boss GT-1 is not the same as Boss GT-100/GT-001

Use  BOSS TONE Studio FOR GT-1  - and review this screen
