Hi
i have watched a video about boss katan 50 mk2 and the use of tonal balance control

I would like to ask you if i can do it with boss gt-100 and gt-1000 via usb recording and use a source , to try to match them
please no IR , just wondering if it's a good idea using a software like reaper , and work on tweaking my boss gt-100 or gt-1000 to match a disortion or an amp

ok , i use my ears ,but often i have to use different active speaker of different brands , i would like to start with a decent preset
thanks

Sure, many use an audio RTA app ( real time analyzer) for this, but well trained ears can dial in comparable tone as well

Many were using an app called Har-Bal for this purpose

hi
do you think voxengo span (free) and Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst (free) could be used ?
just because they are for windows and mac
Har-Bal  it's pretty epansive and i guess i will try REW Room Acoustics Software does not look very easy and i don't think it have a plugin vst/3 or others
thanks
