controlling effect sy 200 effect volume w/ cc2 via midi in

hello Folks
I managed to acquire an SY 200. But I am confused by the implementation and the manual certainly does not have any tutorials.

Is there any kind soul out there who could walk me through how to do this? I am using a breath controller into a Fishman triple play
And Midi out into the Midi in of the SY 200. I want to control a couple of things but if I can figure out one I should be able to figure out the rest. Thank you in advance! Peter
