Its a 1964 Synth with an Accordian-like key Controller.

The 64 Tubes are the tone generators ( 5 tubes per note, one per octave)  and needs no belows/air - control volume with foot pedal.

Two 15" Jensen speakers in the tone cabinet.

State of the art in 1964

I worked with a guy who had and played one.
He was a master.
The thing made so much music it was hard to believe it was one guy!
The amount of tubes was mind bending!

In 1999, I had an opportunity to visit the town of Ancona, Italy - same city where all the cool 1960's -1980's Italian music gear was manufactured: EKO's, Farfisa, Crummar, Vox guitars, were made.

Korg of Italy is now the major company there in Ancona, and they still design all those self accompaniment Korg "Pro Arranger Keyboards there.

It also doubles as a room heater. ;)

Back in the late 1960's, early 1970's, one of the major selling points that big recording studio console makers made as a reason to upgrade to the latest transistor based systems was the lower energy costs and lower electric bills and no need to always run the air conditioning  - due to all the heat created in those 1950's "all tube" studios.

That is one crazy bit of kit, very impressive.
