GP10 sounds awful through PA

I had a quasi-acoustic built with a GraphTech Ghost Hexpander/Analog setup. It sounded good through my old VG-8 (still does). I got a GP10 for the portability of it but it sounds like crap. I use it almost exclusively for acoustic type sounds with various tunings, capo setting and other acoustic sounds programmed in. The idea was to eliminate the sloppy showmanship of changing tunings manually in the middle of a set. Does anyone else use their GP10 in a similar manner? Am I expecting too much from it? After all the VG8 was around $1000 in '98 while the GP10 was only a few hundred bucks used 22 years later.

Set GP-10 Output Mode to Line/Phones when feeding a FRFR PA

Sounds fine based on 6 years of use

I prefer the VG8s1 acoustic models over the Boss SY10000 which is supposed to be a step up from the GP10.

The VG 8 steel and nylon acoustic patches were downloaded from Aure's VG8 site.

Wonder who posted those patches there so long ago?

I also can't remember if you had to join the site in order to download patches. Perhaps I was a member there but I never interacted with forum members.

And now here, its hard to shut me up. ;D

Try new patches created for the GP-10 here

Many deliver superior results

Additionally...there's a master EQ in there somewhere. Use it to perfect the sound.
But I got more gear than I need...and I like it!
