Approach for odd-meters?

I like the SDRUM and Trio+ for "computerless" percussion generation. Often a great feel for what I want to put together.

But I have a riff that turns out to be 7/4 on the [A] section. Not intentionally, it's just what it works out to. Neither of the above can work for that. Looks like I should break out the Beat Buddy? Anyone with experience using it for odd meters - looks like a youtube video or two with the results of such.

If no responses I'll dive-in anyway, but it would be great to start with advice or comments. Thanks.

Ended up going with the SDRUM. Be darned if I can find my Beat Buddy, maybe I loaned it out?

Will post separately toward using the SDRUM for this.
