Hello
I have an Ibanez RG 1570 prestige guitar with the GK 3 mounted.
The guitar works with the Boss GP 10 for home recording only:

I would like to exchange for another, maybe Godin xtsa ...
I am asking for help, does it make sense?
Somehow I can't get the nylon, AC to sound good ...
I want a tremolo bridge to hold the tuning well and sound good.
What guitar would be good?
I wonder - maybe a different guitar model (Cort x 500 or x, and I can mount the GK 3, because I've already done it several times.

That is a good guitar. If you only issue is to fix the tremolo, you could add a Schaller Tremstop and have the best of both worlds.

I've been using it at my RG550LTD and American Deluxe Strat for ages

Thank you for your response
I don't know English and maybe the translator did not translate correctly, or I wrote it wrong.
My Ibanez holds the outfit perfectly and I like it very much, the problem is I can't get a good sound like nylon guitars.
Maybe I'm playing wrong, for example:

I used the great NyRaC - Nylon Real Acoustic Collection patches that don't sound right for me and had to change a bit.
Using the experience of forum users, I would like to find out which guitar sounds best on the GK 3 (there must be a movable bridge)
I only have experience with Ibanez guitars (because they are beautiful :) and Blade
The guitarist must have a movable bridge, it can be a tremolo or a floyd rose.
No guitar I have had with a tremolo bridge has kept the pitch with a vibrato. Locked keys didn't help ...
Therefore, the question is: does Godin xtsa hold the outfit well?
I read about Godin guitars on the forum and they have good reviews.
Which guitars do you recommend to install the GK 3?
Price limits up to 1000 - 1500 euro :)

You should consider different GK pickup settings for the nylon or acoustic guitar models in your GP-10. Create a different GK set and play around with the sensitivity settings to see if that makes a difference in the quality of the modeled sound.

I used to have these on all my gigging guitars. I called them 'guitar daleks.'
They work as advertised, if a little fiddly to set up at first.
But for some reason I took them off several years ago and I don't really miss them. Maybe because I don't gig these days.

Oof, neither did I! How did I miss noticing such a thing? Looks like a clever idea.

The Schaller Tremstop is not manufactured anymore, but several stores still have it in stock (e.g.:Thomann).

They are solid and reliable. In more than 30 years I've only broken one, when I removed the strings with the arm attached to the tremstop

The Tremstop is the reason why I've never needed a LesPaul. Besides that I never got used to the antiergonomics and weight  :D

Thanks, I'll try to do that

Perhaps a forum search for nylon patches before the guitar purchase...

Have a good one,

I have Ibanez s540. Sounds very huge! I like using the Air Norton in the neck, True Velvet in the middle and Evo 2 in the bridge. It was recommended by my friend. I enjoy it.
