QuoteIs anyone finding the looper's 38 seconds to be insufficient? Is it 38 seconds per loop/layer or is it a total of 38 seconds of recording?

There is one bank of factory patches (P50) which have already remapped CTL1, 2,3 as Looper Controls

I believe it's basically infinite overdubs onto that 38 seconds.  Don't discount that it seems like little memory - you can do a lot with short loops.

Just like the Electro-Harmonix Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai that one had a 30 second looper but you could infinitely overdub on it:

From 2010 when I was using the Hazarai as my main performance looper - probably about eight or ten stereo tracks total (bass, high strings, pads, clean guitar), to make up the bed track then soloing over the top:

GK Devices:  Roland VG-99, Boss GP-10, Boss SY-1000.

I also found that when I set up a patch to do this that I didnt need to use up all 3 for the looper because the same button that records will also clear if held down for a few seconds.

All such devices should let you upgrade loop memory with SD cards these days. I like that feature.
