Hi, using AX 100 mk II
How to get Axon and Win 10 to work? (drivers, editor, etc)

Mine is working fine on W7 64 bit.
VG-88V2, GR-50, GR-55, 4 X VG-99s,2 X FC-300,  2 X GP-10 AXON AX 100 MKII, FISHMAN TRIPLE PLAY,MIDX-10, MIDX-20, AVID 11 RACK, BEHRINGER FCB 1010, LIVID GUITAR WING, ROLAND US-20, 3 X GUYATONE TO-2. MARSHALL BLUESBREAKER, SERBIAN ELIMINATOR AMP. GR-33.

I couldn't get the Axon editors to work on anything from Win7 onwards. So I keep a Win XP machine just for when I occasionally want to use them.
Mostly with the AX100 MkII I do all editing from the front panel, but that's maybe because I started out with the original AX100 and no editor.

I have the editor software running on Windows 10, but it doesn't connect to the AXON via a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 USB audio interface -- 'No MIDI controllers found'

Does anyone know why that might be?

Sonar and BitWig have no problem receiving notes from the AXON via the same interface....

I was able to get the editor running on Win 10 by going to the properties and setting it to run in "compatibility mode" for Win XP service pack 3. And then setting it to run as Administrator.   No issues this way :)

Yes and no.
Yes because firmware updates were always linked to a new editor, therefore installing a new editor would install a new firmware in the Axon when connected.
No because not all new editors had new firmware in them, at times it was only bugfixes or improvements to the editor itself.

Win last version is 3.1.10, which brings firmware 7.28.
Mac last version is 3.1.12 (it was a connection fix for Macs only, no new firmware).

In both models (Ax50 and AX100) it is the first thing that appears in the display when you turn on.
