Thanks for the demos. Amps sound great. Some nice chords there too.  :)

What is that footswitch in front?

Hey guys, check out the interview we did with Mr. Yoshi Ikegami last week and their product manager Jeff Slingluff. My show is called EVH Gear Discussion and we had Boss on to discuss the WAZA and Katana amps and specifically the brown sound tone capsule which is aimed at nailing that classic VH tone.

Nice video! I headed over to the Manchester Music Mill this morning and they said they'd sold out of all their Katana stock, but more was on the way. I've got my order in for 1 100 watt 1-12. Can't wait!

I agree with this statement

QuoteThey didn't give opinions. I, however, do have some:
Vox-
Bad clean tone, hurt my ears. Crunch and high gain were passable.
Marshall-
Horid all around.. Even worse clean, congested crunch sound, high gain strait from the toilet. Easily the worst of the bunch.
Fender-
Nice cleans, as expected. Good crunch tones, and surprisingly good high gain. Impressed.
Katana-
Great tube-amp like clean and crunch tones. Liked the high gain better with humbuckers. Very nice.
Blackstar-
Both sounded very similar to me. Good at everything, gain sounds better than the cleans. Like them.
Spider V-
Pretty good clean tones, crunch was decent. High gain is not my favorite. Has that same line 6 character I've disliked for years. Good effort, but not quite there.

My ranking, from best to worst:

1. Katana
2. Fender
3. Blackstar
4. Spider V
5. Vox
6. Marshall Code
