HEADPHONES ON FOR FULL BINAURAL EXPERIENCE

The big question is, does it sound like 'real-life' 3D?  In short, the answer is yes and no.  You certainly have a sense of width, depth, and with a 'moving' automated sound, there's definitely a perception of 3D.

SEPARATE GUITAR STRINGS - ELEVEN IN TOTAL

* Extreme re-amping, re-guitar, effects, and individual string software editing.
* Guitar notes and chords are perfectly in key.  Individual note quantizing is precise and velocities are optimised. Overall the all important performance 'feel' is kept in tact and greatly enhanced.
* 3D software plugin. With a binaural sound stage you have width, depth and height, so mixes sound more immersive than just simple Left - Right panning.

THE KING WILL COME

We've all heard bands and musicians' struggling to play this classic-rock anthem and totally getting it wrong! It isn't just about Andy Powell's classic reggae/rhythm guitar feel. The second guitar, bass and drums make the whole tune bounce along the way it's supposed to. You can get one instrument wrong with the wishbone Ash 'vibe' and then it doesn't sound right. Getting it right is the hallmark of the Wishbone Ash sound.

I hope you have enjoyed listening to this example of binaural recording with separate guitar strings...ahhh, the joy of hex!

MASTER MEDIA FILES. http://www.separate-strings.co.uk/wavfiles.html
H-Resolution .wav & divx.  Wav file is 16-bit 44.1kHz, and the divx @ 1280 X 720p is excellent.

Spoke with Bill earlier today about his excellent Breakout box. I had watched this earlier on You Tube and saw it was posted here too.

The sound does appear to pass behind your head as well as moving across the stereo picture. Fantastic to listen too Check out Bills version of Enigma too.

Blowing my trumpet again. The separate strings binaural movie just went over 100,000 at youtube.   936 likes, 11 dislikes and 85 comments.  Ooh, 11 dislikes...must be doing something wrong. ;)

By youtube standards that doesn't sound like much, but considering the movies niche interest and strong v-guitar content, that's quite a lot. Who said v-guitar and v-synths are going out of fashion? 1/4 inch guy eat your heart out! ;D

Found this one from my old Wishbone Ash VG-88 demos.

Cheers,

Bill
