ewsews,

Are you playing a Fender Stratocaster guitar, or a guitar like this?

Looks like a fun guitar to play. I'm guessing you meant Strat, however.

I really like that song and I want to try and help you find this tone. I often try to emulate similar sounds with my own guitar gear.

I don't have a GT100 but I do have a VG-99, and I have the GT100's manual.

I would probably start with this:

Strat's bridge pickup into the GT100
Distortion pedal with low gain, no bottom and hi treble
Tweed Amp with medium gain switch, gain about 66, no bass, mid about 66, treble 77, presence 11, single small speaker, dynamic mic, off mic 10 cm
Tape delay set to 1 ms, 100% wet, again with treble rolloff (to simulate the lo-fi movie soundtrack tone; I wish I knew a better trick for this)
Reverb (I wish I could place it in front of the Tape Delay but I don't know how.)

Try this patch I created using gumtown's awesome GT100 patch editor, which I found here:

Adjust it and tell me if you think you can get a sound like that song.

Awesome song, dude. Glad you asked that question and linked to that song. Hope this helps! Other players here will probably have even better ideas on that sound.
