Hello everyone,

I've had my JS-10 for a year or two now, and although I've read through the manual, but it does not appear to state anything on sequencing.

By sequencing I mean the sequence (the order of) effects and how they applied.

Can the JS-10 have the ability to set sequence of effect, for example, can we set the Distortion -> EQ -> Flanger -> Chorus? (ie the Randy Rhoads signal path)

Or, is the sequence set internally, we have no ability to change it, and all we can do is to set the settings of each stage?

Effects in the MOD section can only be used one at a time, so I don't think you will get Flanger and Chorus in one patch.
The effect chain does not seem to be changeable either.

The structure seems to be similar to the Boss BR-80 micro, but without the speakers, and that device also has a fixed signal chain order.
You can add some extra effect pedals between the guitar and the JS-10 (GT-1 would go well).

Thanks mate. I pretty thought as much.

In terms of Product placement, is there anything after the JS-8, JS-10? IE, a small standalone practice amp.

The "Smart practice Amps" with smartphone connectivity have matched or  superceded the JS-8, JS-10.

I own a few

The NUX MIGHTY SPACE  is the feature leader - great Amp modeling Stereo FX, Cab IR Loading , Backing tracks, Drums, Looper, MIDI Control, 24 bit USB Class Compliant Audio that supports all computer platforms,  stereo speakers, loud enough for small gigs, and built in 60 watt power amp to drive external speaker cab for playing with live drummer.

Mooer SD30i- similar to above

Positive Grid Spark - the MINI is my favorite - but Spark is 16 bit USB Audio , and no USB reamping as the two above.

Boss Katana AIR / Boss Katana AIR EX
Less functional than above solutions, not USB Class Compliant , a bit overpriced for its features vs what the competion provides
