Haven't had a GP10 for long and after lots of fooling around I finally got something down on 'tape'. Not finished but I am really happy with the sounds I got so far. All the sounds are from the GP10 only. My gat is my beloved lefty '84 Ibanez Roadster I've had since new. GK3 pup is attached with double sided tape. And the controller is velcroed. Inelegant but it works.

The main riff is patch 16 I think. 7th Fret Capo (with 12 string added). The bass riff is just the Bass Clean patch I think but I roughly doubled the main riff. There's a riff in there with Open E. The Nylon patch was cool to play. I've never played a nylon string guitar.

Tape? TAPE???

I'm just glad I'm not the only one who still says that!

Liked the track a lot, that capo 12 string is a favourite patch for me too.

Thanks!

Gotta love the word tape. Much nicer than platter. Or disc. Younger people are not going to understand you though.

Yep that capo patch is a beauty. I bonded with that one straight away.

I added some parts to it. And gave it a name that references that legendary Japanese pedal maker and nods toward my appreciation for American muscle cars.

After the breakdown the track begins the climb back up with a backwards verse. An easy mixing option in today's DAWs. Then a key change through to fade. The key change is the 7th Fret Capo patch but with an actual capo at the 2nd. A similar riff to the main one but different enough. I could have created the capo position with the Boss of course but real capos are cool too.
