I want to put together a snake with 2 MIDI cables, a LO-Impedence cable, and a AC power cable. Anyone know how to shield the Midi and Mic cable from the AC cable??. Thanks Paul. I know Proco makes ac/inst snakes , but not like I want
And to whoever posted about the Monster (snake maker)cord wrap, Thanks it works great

You will want to keep the AC power far away from the other cables. If you run them in parallel, you will get 50/60Hz hum injected into your audio.

i found this cable to work for 90% of my "MIDI Snake" pedal board needs:

You could run power through a multicable, but not the AC side, but the DC side. I have implemented this and have no problems with hum.

Do a USA ebay search for:

12/3 Cond M27500 SHIELDED Cable BLACK $1 buy 1Ft

or

16/3 Cond M27500 SHIELDED Cable BLACK 1000FT $1 buy 2Ft

16/3 is sufficient in the 20 to 30 foot range, unless you are using it for large power amps.

Here's the link to my snake again. Still of great use and gives a very tidy setup:
