This little step-up converter cable enables you to use any old usb powerbank. I have one of their earlier models, sold through Amazon, which supplies 0.7mA at 9V centre neg. It works perfectly. The Kickstarter model offers 1000mA at 9V centre neg, and it looks more refined in every way. They are also offering 12V and 18V dc models.

I have a number of usb powerbanks, only one of which offers 9V and 12V (centre pos) dc outputs. While it's great to have access to the large capacity powerbanks, I also value portability. I've been powering an EHX Pitchfork with my 5V usb to 9V converter, using the tiny RavPower lipstick shaped 3350mAH usb battery ...and it lasts for ages.
