Roland 24-Pin Cable Failure / Repair
« on: February 19, 2015, 02:57:15 PM »
Hello all,

I recently acquired a vintage G-707 and DC-13 convertor to use with my VG-99 which have been fantastic but the 24 pin cable that came with these has just stopped working.  A friend who is an engineer confirmed for me that is the cable itself and not just a few of the pins.

I have looked at the resources on Wayne Joness' site but I am greatly under qualified to perform the conversion to a Belkin cable.  I would really love to repair this cable rather than purchase a second one on ebay for over $200....

Is there anyone out there would has had luck repairing and such thing and could provide a repair service?  Thanks in advance :).

Thanks, I've seen these resources.  My issue is I don't have the technical expertise to do it my self :/.
