I saw this review at zzounds:

http://www.zzounds.com/productreview--ROLGKKITGT3

The review starts off with:
"I had this professionally installed on a Fender reverse strat at Union Music in Worcester, MA. I own a Roland VG-8EX and a Roland GR-20. I can get every guitar sound I need through the VG-8, and the variety of sounds/styles I can get via the GR-20 have reinvigorated my playing and my recording...."

Anyway this person seemed very happy with the install job done by the folks at Union Music in Worcester MA.

I am very interested in this since I live in MA and am looking to have an internal GK-3 added to my Strat...

I was hoping that maybe this person is in this forum and could provide some additional feedback/tips/etc on the how his install went and how it has been working since...

Thanks!

Just a word of advice - Try to get a recent referral from any repair shop  / luthier you intend to do business with. Good repairmen come and go and that referral is now 3 1/2 years old.
If it were me I would consult the authorized RMC pickup installers list too- as these same installers are more than capable of installing the Roland Internal GK Kit too.

Call this installer too:

Your guitar's setup, intonation, and fret condition ( should be very polished) ,  is crucial for best GR-55 performance
