how to power off?

anyone know how to manually power off the GT1000 core, aside from pulling the power adapter cord in and out of the unit?

I have tried setting the auto power off feature to ON...but it has not been turning off automatically.  I'm not sure why not..maybe because its plugged into USB?

The auto-off features takes a few (10?) hours. Other than that, yeah, cut power to the unit.

yea mine doesn't power off even after days of not touching it.

Pull the power input connector, or switch off the A.C mains power.
Amp main volume turned down first is optional.

I'm thinking about buying an in-line barrel power switch like this one from Sparkfun:



I have some similar in-line switches to this that turn USB power on and off.
