Don't believe everything you see on the internet.... I am using Windows 11 and so far it has been rock solid with no issues. If you want to hate you will so don't bother installing it. All my windows 10 drivers worked without missing a beat and I think it may have helped my ASIO devices but I don't get all technical and meter my PC performance, it just feels good to me. I have been waiting for Microsoft to get a new look for a long time now If Boss could make there gear look good I might not have gone with the other guys. The pedals are good but that user interface has got to get out of the 80's. I digress.... Windows 11 is a job well don IMO.

If you are running the AMD architecture, you should definitely take heed.  For now, you're going to see a 15% performance hit out of the gate from Windows 10 to Windows 11.  The patches released so far have not addressed the issue.  In fact, they've made it worse.  Cache latency has tripled, which will significantly affect performance.

The OS, at least thus far, seems to be specifically optimized for the Intel architecture.  In the Mac universe, musicians generally know that new OS software often breaks drivers, so we wait to upgrade until vendors have caught up with the OS.

If you're running AMD, conventional wisdom says don't get on the upgrade train just yet.

Microsoft has now fixed the L3 caching issue in Windows 11 build 22000.282, but a fix for the preferred core issue remains outstanding.
