I used my double-Borg'd guitar, recorded simultaneous GR55 & FTP MIDI streams from THE SAME PERFORMANCE.  Straight MIDI, the FTP app/enhancements were not used. Both were in chromatic mode. This was recorded at 100BPM - in my ONE AND ONLY ONE take (because this end-to-end process was a PITA).

The FTP has ~3 extraneous notes. The GR55 has at least 4 timing errors due to latency and at least 10 extraneous notes. Note the GK has the coveted position closer to the bridge - i.e., the FTP was handicapped a bit.

I initially set this up thinking it might actually be my future rig, but no, it's a little unwieldy and the guitar is a cheapie & it shows...  In the meanwhile, I'll keep this setup for learning purposes.
Dogmatic attachment to the supposed merits of a particular structure hinders the search for an appropriate structure.

. . . the future ain't what it used to be . . .

Thanks for the side by side results! Your FTP results generally match mine, in which I got 16 errant notes in a nearly 700 note part, but no timing errors.
