Here's an interesting controller for electronic music/computer devices that is apparently being funded by a Kickstarter program.

Much like the KMI Softstep, each of the pads on this controller has multiple sensors under it.  By performing some math on the sensor input, each pad can output not only information on where you finger is touching the pad, but also the pressure.  So, you end up with a bunch of X/Y pads which can also send pressure and continuous controller information.
Pretty cool.

Add some multicolor LEDs and you have some nice display feedback.

They decided to make it the same size as the ipad, which I think is really quite smart because then it can share devices like stands and cases.  Cool.

It's not out yet - Kickstarter program ends Jan 9 - Which means they'll be able to tell us all more at NAMM this year.
