A friend of a friend directed & produced an indie movie & needed a soundtrack.   He distributed copies of the film & asked folks to submit ideas.   Silly me, over the course of a week (with almost no sleep) I had a draft soundtrack for the entire short film (about 20 minutes).

This was produced using all guitar sound sources, nothing else.   I used my Epihone Sheraton via my Roland GR30 string synth, and my Peavey Wolfgang via my Boss-GT8.

This is a short passage, during an interview after a murder.   Clearly I'm taking aim at Philip Glass, ala The Thin Blue Line, but with a rock edge, a crystalline distorted guitar sound insinuating its way here & there...

Despite the somber tone, the director went 180 degrees the other direction & chose a very loud beaty pop soundtrack.   Frankly, I think both versions work!

I beileve the final version of the film is on YouTube, entitled "Sarah Luger".
Dogmatic attachment to the supposed merits of a particular structure hinders the search for an appropriate structure.
