Just took delivery from a well known major retailer on a brand new in the box JTV-69.
The analog part worked fine but the models did not output any sound.

Battery was new and fully charged.

If I wiggled the output jack around a bit I could get something distorted and low level out of it but nothing usable.

With my electronics background I took out the jack module and there is actually a very complicated set of circuit board there.

The retailer whom I have worked with got 30 years tried to get the replacement part for me.

No part available from Line 6.

For sure I am cancelling the entire o0rder.

Common problem

Gently Lift the Model Knob , to provide enough up /down motion of the Knob when tapped to enable the functional momentary " Model engage Switch" action.

Every new JTV69 Ive played has this problem.

(I took delivery of three JTV-69 before I got one with a straight neck back in 2012 -every one of them  fresh out of the shipping box was inoperable, because the Model Knob on/ off switch can get impacted during transit, pressed too hard. It restricts the "Push/Push" switch action  = non functional.
