Hi all

I'm trying to find the best set up so I can run my GT-1 to my Peavey bandit 112 for stage use. I've tried the return method but I'm getting lots of feedback and the patches are all different volume levels  :(
Can any please advise

I want to use the patches on the pedal but with no built in speaker sim

Many thanks,

QuoteI've tried the return method but I'm getting lots of feedback

GT-1 has far more high gain than the Peavey Bandit, High pitch feedback is indicative of guitar pickups that require wax potting

Hi thanks for the advice I'm running super distortion pick ups in my guitar. I've dropped the gain on the preamp on the pedal and it's helped a bit but still not cut through the mix
can you advise a good eq setting for cutting through the mix on stage with my gt-1

Thank again

Check the GT-1 "Output Select" option, with "Line/Phones" selected the cabinet sim is enabled,
try and set with another option similar to your setup, such as "Combo Return"
You might even want to switch "off" the GT-1 preamp.

I've got the gt-1 output option set to combo return, a few of the patches are sounded good but my sound seems lost when my band members are playing. I'm puzzled 😞

What gear do others in your band use?

Boost the mid frequencies more, cut the bass & treble back a bit,
sit your amp up on a chair/table/stand to bring the speaker closer to ear height.

You will need to learn to make quick edits on the GT-1 "on the fly" tweak - tweak - write - write
so you can get balanced tone and levels between different user patches.

My last comment made me think about multi effect units in general, if they had an Audition Mode,
where your adjustments are automatically written to the device while you skip through patches,
without the need to write - verify - save all the time.  8)

The Zoom cheaper pedals (G1on, G1-four)have an "auto save" mode.  Not sure about their higher end models.
