Even with the manual, I am not able to do a string split. What I am trying to achieve is having only the bottom 2 strings (the low E and the A string) play the Upright Bass, while the top 4 strings are only my regular, guitar magnetic pickup.
Any help out there?

Your regular Mag pickups will Always output the low E & A strings

Do you have the Internal Waveblaster Synth Board installed on Axon AX100 MKII ?

If driving external synth - it must be a specific model which supports MIDI MONO MODE

I don't know if I have the internal waveblaster synth board.
I'm not using any external devices.
It would be acceptable to always sound the low E and A strings with the magnetic pickups. Im just trying to get the upright bass to be applied to only the loe E and A strings.
Thanks!

Do you hear Synth tones from Axon Audio Output?

If Yes- then you do have the internal Synth board

1. Create the split;
2. Assign the Upright Bass to your Low e and A strings;
3. Assign whatever sound to other strings with output volume 0.

I had a patch on my Axon exactly like that, only the bass was fretless.

bombayroom did you get it sorted?

I could maybe send you a patch where string splits works (as long as your soundcard is in there!)
